# elevator-js

- Author: Tim Holman
- Source: https://github.com/tholman/elevator.js (demo page: demo/ in the repo, published at tholman.com/elevator.js)
- Commit: a8332ecf7fa45cf51a177959359780e573205ede (master)
- Licence: MIT — stated only in the header comment of elevator.js and in package.json/README; ./LICENSE is that header, extracted verbatim.
- Vendored files: elevator.js, demo/css/styles.css (unmodified)
- NOT vendored: demo/music/elevator.mp3 and demo/music/ding.mp3. The README says the demo audio was bought from Pond5
  ("you will need to license your own"); it is not redistributable.
- Added by Web Curio:
  - stage.html (made from demo/index.html with stage.py)
  - sounds/lift-music.wav and sounds/ding.wav — synthesised by us with sounds/make_sounds.py (pure Python, no samples:
    a 24-second bossa-nova style loop of electric piano, vibraphone, bass and shaker, and an inharmonic bell "ding");
    dedicated to the public domain (CC0)
  - LICENSE, this file
- Modifications to the original (stage.html only):
  - strict CSP + sandbox shim
  - script/style paths adjusted for the page living one folder up (../elevator.js → elevator.js, ./css → demo/css)
  - "Tweet" link and the Twitter widgets.js loader removed; "Fork me on GitHub" ribbon (image hot-linked from camo.githubusercontent.com) removed
  - mainAudio / endAudio point to our self-made sounds instead of the licensed music
  - demo/index.html itself is not kept (it contains the Twitter widget loader); stage.html is the edited copy
