# mapgen4

- Author: Amit Patel (Red Blob Games)
- Source: https://github.com/redblobgames/mapgen4 (live: https://www.redblobgames.com/maps/mapgen4/)
- Commit: c1d8cb018a11a8b9e17d59233c36c176429d37eb (main)
- Licence: Apache-2.0 (./LICENSE)
- Built from source, following the repository's build.sh without source maps:
  `pnpm install --frozen-lockfile` then, with esbuild 0.25.0,
  `esbuild --bundle generate-points-file.ts --platform=node --format=esm --external:fs --outfile=build/_generate-points-file.js && node build/_generate-points-file.js`,
  `esbuild --bundle mapgen4.ts --minify --outfile=build/_bundle.js`, `esbuild --bundle worker.ts --minify --outfile=build/_worker.js`
- Bundled dependencies (inside build/_bundle.js and build/_worker.js): @redblobgames/prng 1.0.0 (Apache-2.0),
  delaunator 5.0.1 (ISC), fast-2d-poisson-disk-sampling 1.0.3 (MIT), flatqueue 2.0.3 (ISC), gl-matrix 3.4.3 (MIT),
  simplex-noise 4.0.3 (MIT)
- Vendored files: embed.html (the original page fragment, unchanged), build/_bundle.js, build/_worker.js,
  build/points-5.5.data (generated by the build), LICENSE
- Added by Web Curio: stage.html, this file
- Modifications to the original: embed.html is a fragment meant to be included in the article page, so
  stage.html wraps it, unchanged, in a minimal HTML document (doctype, charset, viewport, title, white
  background, 8px top padding) plus the museum's CSP meta and sandbox shim. No code was changed.
- Known limitation in the museum: the PNG export link uses a download, which the sandboxed exhibit frame blocks.
